Stages 1-10: Easiest and most common position for Stages 1-10 is lying on your back, though demonstrated while standing in the videos.

Stages 1-4: Not only lying on your back, but also with knees bent, feet flat.

Notes on Stage 3 Video: The letting go part, with the sound or word stuck is typically much longer than what’s shown in the video, as if to savor the letting go of pent up tension. Again, usually done lying on back, knees bent, feet flat.
